The Wiser Wealth Management Advisory Board is made up of both clients and non clients from different industries. The Board assists Wiser in its long term planning and business strategies.
Trabue Bryans Kordares has over 35 years’ experience in the medical device and biotech industries. Trabue holds a B.S. from University of Georgia, and an M(ASCP) certification in Microbiology from the Medical College of Georgia, with selected MBA course work. She started her own laboratory in 1995, sold it a few years later, but continued on as Executive VP and General Manager. It was bought in 2008 by WuXi AppTec, a China-based company on the NYSE, where Trabue was VP of Quality Assurance and Atlanta Operations.
Her specialty is FDA and international regulations and testing associated with the sterilization sciences. She is a member of the AAMI Standards Board and has served on the Committee on Standards Strategy, and Board of Directors. She is co-chair of two AAMI technical committees, convener for the International Standards Organization, Microbiological Methods Committee, and is a technical expert. She is presently the founder and chief consultant of BryKor LLC, where she provides regulatory assistance, technical support and training.
KIM BUSHNELL, CPA
Kim is the Adjunct Accounting Instructor at Berry College. Prior work includes working as a financial statement auditor and a financial analyst at a large accounting firm. Kim is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, with a degree in accounting and the University of Georgia with a Masters in accounting. Kim serves on the Berry Enterprises Advisory Board, is a member of the Medical Alliance of Floyd-Polk-Chattoga Counties, and is a member of Seven Hills Fellowship Church. Kim and her husband, Dr. Brad Bushnell, live in Rome, GA.
James Eubanks is the President of Wharton Management, the property manager for commercial real estate on the Marietta Square and surrounding areas. James has two Mechanical Engineering degrees: a Bachelor of Science from Rice University and a Master of Science from Stanford University. James worked as a Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI, and as a Business Systems and Integration Consultant at Accenture in Chicago, IL. James and wife, Julie, have three children. James is on the Board of Trustees for First United Methodist Church Marietta. He is also a member of the Downtown Marietta Development Authority and President nominee of the Marietta Rotary Club.
DR. DAVE HARRIS
Mr. Harris is the owner of Dave Harris Realty. Dave is a retired Professor Emeritus from the University system of Georgia. He spent 40 years in education, with 30 of those at Kennesaw State University. Mr. Harris is also a retired Colonel GANG. Dave earned a Georgia Teachers BS at Georgia Southern, is an MED Graduate – Command & General Staff College, and did Exercise Physiology education Post Doctoral at University of Oregon. Dave is affiliated with American Alliance Health, Phy. Ed. & Recreation, is a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club, Atlanta Commercial Board of Relators, Military Officers Association and the Cobb and Cherokee Chambers of Commerce. Dave and his wife live in Marietta, GA.
Roberto Mastercola is an award-winning, Integrated Communication Manager at Coca-Cola leading strategic development and execution of media and interactive programs for brands such as Coca-Cola. In this role, Roberto has developed some of the largest consumer engagement initiatives within the North America business, including innovative social media and experiential marketing programs. Prior to joining Coca-Cola in 2006, he spent 8 years at Kimberly-Clark where he oversaw media, interactive and branded entertainment for Kimberly-Clark brands in the personal and baby care categories. Roberto holds a BA in Advertising from Marquette University. He and his family live in Smyrna, GA.
J. ALLEN MILLER
Allen has been an entrepreneur for most of his working life. For over 10 years he was a partner in a real estate development group and managed the process of locating rural development opportunities, typically in the restaurant, hotel, and convenience store asset class. A significant portion of his experience dealt with sourcing financing, the development of income forecasts and negotiating with lenders and equity investors in real estate projects and operating companies.
Allen formed Strategic Crisis Resolution in 2008 to advise borrowers in distressed debt situations in the aftermath of the many Georgia bank failures. Borrowers became unable to refinance the debts they owed due to declines in asset values, restrictive underwriting standards, and the slowdown in the economy. Guarantors saw their net worth slashed due to poor investments and the stock market crash, while at the same time facing liability on their personal guarantees. As the number of bank failures increased and the volume of problem loans skyrocketed SCR’s advisory business in distressed debt and capital sourcing expanded dramatically. In 2011 alone, Strategic Crisis Resolution settled loans for its clients in excess of $100 Million.
Allen has negotiated loan restructurings for companies and advised the companies on the sourcing of financing, asset dispositions, corporate organization, strategic planning, and valuation issues. Allen has achieved success in many business endeavors due to his talent for creative problem solving, his experience in accounting and financial analysis, a thorough knowledge of the process of asset valuation, operational restructuring, and his appreciation of strategic planning.
Roy is the President of Miller Property Investments, LLC and Monroe Property Investments, LLC. Roy also serves on the Berry College Board of Visitors and the Berry College Student Enterprises Board. Roy lives in Covington, GA.
Mrs. Gage is the owner of Brenda Gage Marketing, LLC based in Seattle, Washington. Prior to starting her own firm Brenda was the Marketing Manager at Intimacy. During her work at Intimacy, she successfully helped brand the company’s product through TV programing such as Oprah, The Today Show, Tyra Banks, Rachael Ray, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, What Not to Wear and other local media. Brenda helped launch stores in New York, Boston, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and other high profile locations. She has also served as a past producer on a TV show for ABC called “Northwest Afternoon” in Seattle. Brenda has degrees in communications from the University of Washington and Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College. Brenda and her husband live in Seattle, Washington.
Dayna Reed is currently the Director of Brand Communications and Programs at RaceTrac Petroleum. Prior to her work with RacTrac Dayna was a Brand Manager for Russell Athletic and a Sales Manager at Inzone Brands. Dayna volunteers as an Everybody Wins Mentor in Atlanta. An avid runner, Dayna has completed the NYC Marathon. She earned her BS is Marketing from Clemson University and her MBA from the University of Georgia. Dayna and her husband live in Smyrna, GA.
